Meet Your Acupuncturist

Sarah Miklos L.Ac.

Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and her Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Roseville, MN (now known as American Academy of Health and Wellness).  After successfully completing the graduate program and national board exams, she is now recognized as a Diplomat of Acupuncture by the National Certificate Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licensed by the Minnesota Medical Board.

While working on her Master's, Sarah was a member of the Student Association, student intern in the Multiple Sclerosis specialty clinic, and lead of the Fibromyalgia study group at AAAOM. She also interned with the Wilder Foundations' Southeast Asian Services division providing acupuncture to the SEA community.

In her current practice, Sarah's areas of focus lie in musculoskeletal pain, stress and anxiety relief, gastrointestinal issues, and women's health issues. However, with the whole body approach of Chinese medicine, nearly every problem has the ability to be addressed.

Sarah now lives in Richfield, MN and enjoys sharing the benefits of acupuncture with her friends, family and the community.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and spending time with her family, preferably in the great outdoors!
